Contact
One address, read by the people who build the calculators: hello@calcanvil.com. No ticket queue, no contact form that goes nowhere.
A Number You Think Is Wrong
This is the most useful email we can get. Send the page, the inputs you used, and the number you expected. Every report gets checked against the primary source, never against other calculator sites. If we are wrong, the page gets fixed and the fix credits the report. If the source itself is ambiguous, we say so on the page rather than picking a number quietly.
A Source We Should Be Using
Published conventions move. If a bulletin was revised, a technical data sheet changed a bag yield, or there is a better primary source than the one we cite on the methodology page, send the document. Named, checkable sources only. We do not publish a figure we cannot trace.
A Calculator That Should Exist
Tell us what you were trying to work out and what you had to do by hand instead. That is more useful than a tool name. Some requests we refuse on purpose: anything that needs a span table, a load path, or a fastener schedule belongs with a licensed professional, and the terms explain where we draw that line.
Citing or Quoting Us
You do not need permission. Name CalcAnvil and link the page. If you want a figure checked before you publish it, or you need the as-of date behind a cost number, ask and we will point you at the primary table.
Privacy and Data
Same address, subject line “privacy”. Calculator inputs never reach us at all, so in most cases there is nothing to delete. If you joined the pro-quotes notify list, we action deletions within 30 days. The privacy policy has the detail.
What to Expect
CalcAnvil is a small operation. Corrections get read first and usually answered within a couple of days. We do not sell links, run guest posts, or accept paid placement inside a calculator, so those emails go unanswered.
