Why This One Is Different
You've got a landscape edge, a wheel stop, or a driveway curb to pour, and the shape makes the concrete math almost embarrassingly simple compared to a slab. This calculator multiplies your curb's height and width in feet to get cross-sectional area, multiplies that by total length for plan volume, and then layers on the standard ordering allowance for spillage and form irregularity. Landscape edging, parking-lot wheel stops, and driveway curbs all share the same basic shape: a small, consistent cross-section repeated down a run of length. A 6×6-inch curb run 100 feet long works out to about 0.93 cubic yards of plan volume before the allowance is added.
Where the Numbers Come From

Do I need forms for a curb pour?
Yes, unless you're using a curb-forming machine: straight or curved wood/metal forms hold the cross-section shape while the concrete cures, and they're removed once the pour has set enough to hold its edge.
